What does every Internet Marketer want more of? Traffic and Money is a fair answer I think. They go together: the more traffic you can get, the more money you should be able to earn from your sites.  Since Google’s Panda and Penguin updates, traffic has become …. what is the word I am looking for…sporadic? painful? unrelaible?

This has been my issue. One minute Google loves your site and the next minute they hate it. Then next week they kind of like the sites (but not too much). It is no way to build a business, but what can you do about it?

Over the last few months I have been dreaming of no longer worrying about Google rankings. The constant worry about where your site (and your clients sites) rank is a surefire way to get an ulcer, and I am losing my hair already – I don’t need an ulcer as well!

I have looked at all different kinds of link building, but all of them rely on Google not changing their mind at some point and deciding they hate that type of link. I don’t want to write a million articles anymore. I don’t want to spin this, that, and the other and spam the world. I hate the idea of making up hundreds of fake forum profiles. I just want to drive traffic to my sites and not wake up every morning worrying, in case Google made a change to the way they do things overnight.

I am lucky, I have been online for nearly eight years and I know some interesting people. I was discussing (ok maybe I was moaning) about Google to my friend Robert Molina on Skype one day, and he started talking about Facebook, Memes and the traffic they can drive.

First of all, it took me a minute to realize that when he said “Meme”, he meant the images with messages that you see all over Facebook, Pinterest and Google+.  Robert knows Facebook like the back of his hand. He has great info on what types of pages to set up, what groups to join and everything else you can think of.  I then realized I had been sharing Meme’s on Facebook forever. I knew they got thousands of views as I had seen them and shared them myself.

We all know Facebook gets millions, tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of people looking there every day. They are looking to be entertained. They don’t want to read long posts about your woes. They want to see something funny, or heart moving, or even annoying. People share things that make them laugh, annoy them, or strike an emotional cord.

So all I have to do is make a Meme, include my url or a branding message, share it and all is good. Oh is that all….

At this point in the conversation, I was getting a bit embarrassed because I had to admit to Rob that I can’t use Photoshop, or even Gimp to save my life. I can resize an image and that is about it. I have watched videos, tried playing with the programs, and I just can’t get it doing….well, anything.

“Make something so simple that even you can use it Paul?”

That made me think, and I came up with a list of what I wanted from my Meme Software

But How Do I Make Money With It?

This is always the real issue. You buy a tool that looks great, but you are unsure how to use the things it makes. You use it once or twice and don’t really know if you are doing it right because no one gives you the complete picture.

Sure, I can show you how to make Meme’s, but where is the best place to put them? How can you monetize them? and someone please tell me what exactly is Facebook for?
